TODAY IS THE DAY

24 Feb 2013

Now as a pointer, My name is Scraggy and I am the Adopted-daddy to Banjo and together we are the owners of a female human, Caroline. (she will be taking notes and writing our blog).

New day dawns... Banjo and I awoke as normal at 7.35am but for some reason our human was still asleep. Well the fact that both Banjo and I rather needed the garden, we decided to attempt to wake our human.

Beginning with a chase about the bedroom and using the mound beneath the covers as a ramp and defence barrier Banjo and I had great fun causing a mischief and eventually waking the human (she groaned) so we pressed on, both attempted to climb back into bed with our human and when that failed we continued our chasing about using her body as a ramp, trampoline and a pull toy.

If you have not guessed - Banjo and I are Jack Russell Terriers. Very well behave as a rule but occasionally we do like to upset the applecart by playing havoc and we are very good at what we do.

Banjo is almost 12 months old and I, well I am a mere 4 years old in October. Still young and very playful we do enjoy the odd bit of rough and tumble now and again together and with others. Cats living nearby rather avoid us as we try to play with them.
We have a cheeky Black cat who enjoys prowling about in our garden and climbing our fences and leaping onto our kitchen roof. This can get rather frustrating as, whenever we go outside the cheeky cat disappears or its favourite is to perch on the fence at the far end of our garden and watch as we race along the path and pounce up uselessly at its tail dangling of our heads. Our human has said she should get a firearm and help us but I really feel that would rather spoil our fun, plus trying to catch the invader gives us reason to race the full length of the garden, giving us excersize and pleasure.
